A proud Niagara Falls resident for over 31 years, Karen is a master of sugar-coated artistry with over a decade of cookie decorating experience under her belt. What started as a creative hobby alongside her retail career quickly blossomed into a booming custom cookie business eight years ago. Her talent even led her to become the featured storefront cookie decorator for a beloved bakery in Niagara-on-the-Lake! For the past year and a half, Karen has been sharing her passion through hands-on, community workshops—often teaching alongside her daughter and friends. She is a firm believer that it is never too late to pursue what brings you joy, and she is incredibly grateful to do what she loves regularly. With her extensive background in customer service and professional baking, Karen brings endless patience, expert tips, and a warm, encouraging energy to every bench. When she discovered Craft Collective on Instagram, she knew it was the perfect "third space" to bring her next series of workshops to life—and we couldn't agree more!
